2009 Breaks All Anger Management Records At Anderson & Anderson
As the year- end approaches, all of us at Anderson & Anderson would like to thank our clients, providers and customers for making this year our best year ever.Here are some of the highlights in Anger Management for 2009:•Lekdan Takspa, MBA joined our staff as our new General Manager. Lekdan brings a new surge of energy to our Corporate Office in Brentwood.• Nancy Anderson took a more active role in providing Executive Coaching for Physicians referred from Kaiser Permanente of Southern California. In addition, she providers on-going psychotherapy for those in need of coaching and psychotherapy.• The City of Los Angeles became Anderson & Anderson’s latest Organizational Client for executive coaching for all of its’ departments.• George Anderson made presentations for the Riverside County Medical Association as well as Kaiser Permanente of Northern California. Both presentations were successful and resulted in an increase of “disruptive physician” referrals.• The Anderson & Anderson anger management curriculum was selected for use by all three of the jails in Los Angeles County.• The California Highway Patrol added the Anderson & Anderson Coaching for Law Enforcement to it’s list of resources for uniform personnel.• More Substance Counselors, Psychiatrists, Psychologists, MFTs and LPCs from Canada and the U.S. completed the 40 hours Facilitator Certification than any previous year.• George & Nancy Anderson represented the National Association of Social Workers at the Voice Awards for the appropriate portrayal of mental illness in the Television and Print Media.• New Jersey became the latest state to require Certification for Substance Abuse Counselors in the Anderson & Anderson anger management curriculum.• The State of Texas approved the Anderson & Anderson Batterer’s Intervention curriculum,“A Ray of Hope” for use in Domestic Violence Programs in Texas.• Jason Anderson completed his training in Food Services and is now working at the Brentwood Veterans Hospital.• Bryan Anderson has had a successful year as a Behavioral Interventionist at the UCLA Semel Institute at NPI. He is applying for Graduate School for the fall.• Ania Anderson continues to enjoy her position as a Flight Attendant at Jet Blue Air Lines.The Faculty and Staff at Anderson & Anderson would like to take this opportunity to wish all a very Happy Holiday Season.George Anderson
